What is the ideal length of an online conversation before you ask someone out?

There is no ideal length my dear. I’d suggest seize any interesting moment in your conversation and suggest that you take it offline. Do it with confidence by suggesting a day, time and a place to meet as well. When it is presented like that most likely you will end up meeting for sure – if not on the day you suggested perhaps on another day. For example, if you’re having a discussion on say running, suggest that you meet for a run or even a post run breakfast to share notes. Or if you’re discussing something in the news, say that you would love to hear more in person rather than type long form here, so let’s meet…..:). That being said, I cannot ever stress enough that you do it in a genuine way, we are all good at sniffing out people who play games!
